MANILA, Philippines – Dermalog, LTO’s new IT provider demanded an apology from LTO Chief Guadiz for his remarks that contained unjustified accusations.
Consider that the LTO Chief previously said that dermalog should bear the blame for the public’s recent experience with sluggish registration and licensing system services.
He also added that the problem was the constant offline of LTMS which is created by Dermalog.
However, Atty. De Vega, dermalog spokesperson, clarify during the press conference that the DICT has already preliminary findings appearing that the issue was the LTO’s network.
“Ang network po ang may problema, at network po mismo sa loob ng LTO ang source ng pagbagal.”
She also explained that the Land Transportation Management System is working properly and was turned over to the government.
“So let me reiterate that the LTMS is working”
Based on Dermalog’s investigation, the problem was not with them, but with the LTO’s computer inside the office that affected the network.
“We believe that LTO Chief Guadiz is being unfair in making unjust accusations to Dermalog,” said Atty. De Vega.
Dermalog Spokesperson however believes that maybe the LTO Chief was misinformed by the information regarding the LTO’s online system.
De Vega then urged LTO Chief Guadiz to apologize for the unfair accusation made in connection with the matter.
“These are unfair allegations. Thus we are asking LTO chief Guadiz to apologize to Dermalog for his statements that are not accurate,” said Dermalog spokesperson Atty. De Vega.
Likewise, Atty. De Vega humbly reached out to LTO Chief Guadiz to support and guide them as stipulated in the contract.
“Nanawagan ako sa iyo LTO Chief Guadiz, samahan mo kami ng Dermalog, bigyan natin ang solusyon ang problema” Atty. De Vega appealed.
